Missy Guerrero Scherber

Missy Guerrero Scherber is the president and primary owner of T.Scherber, an earthmoving and waste management company in Minneapolis that services top developers and general contractors in the Twin Cities

Through Missy’s leadership T.Scherber has grown exponentially over the last 8 years and were recently awarded their WBE/MBE/SBE/DBE certifications teeing them up to support larger commercial & government projects. She is passionate about “Doing Dirty Jobs Differently” while
bringing construction and community together to make a difference.

In 2021 T.Scherber won Finance and Commerce prestigious Top Women in Construction Award in the “Companies on the Rise” category and was selected as 1 of 10 finalists for Equipment World’s Contractor of the Year award.

Missy leads the company’s overall business efforts and has a consistent commitment to sharing T.Scherber’s story internally, externally, and specifically online in order to shine the spotlight on the careers in the trades and women in construction.

On social media she has become an advocate and spokesperson for women in construction and has amassed a following of over 20,000+ people on Instagram (primarily contractors) and 5,000 page views a month on their website and blog. She is a brand ambassador for several global companies including Caterpillar and ConExpo and has received national recognition and press for her advocacy including a recent interview with USA TODAY released on International Women’s Day!

She’s a member of the AWC, AGC, NAMC, and the MSA, and is also very active in giving back to her community through several local non-profits and her “Do Good Dumpster” Program.

Whether it’s big machines or board meetings, dumpsters or doing good, she is always looking for creative ways to build a better industry that builds a better world.

Anne Pfleger

Anne Pfleger, CIT, CBT has been working in the construction and transportation industries for over 30 years. She joined Hancock Structural Steel, LLC as the Director of Operations in October 2021, and has since been promoted to Chief Accounting Officer. Anne is also a Past National President of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC).

For Anne becoming a member of NAWIC in 2006 ignited an internal purpose and passion, to not only improve personally, but to support and guide other women in the construction industry to do the same. She has also engaged parallel organizations seeking ways to be of mutual benefit to one another.

Anne’s goal for the next few years is to be the conduit to connect and communicate collaboratively to have the conversations that will break the barriers women are facing in the construction industry.

Amber Wolfrom

Amber Wolfrom is Family Resource Center’s Adult Prevention Specialist. She completed her undergraduate work at The University of Toledo and her Masters at The University of Findlay.  She has been an Ohio Certified Prevention Consultant since 2002.  Amber has spent most of her career in behavioral health facilitating evidence-based prevention strategies, assisting with Hancock County’s Recovery Oriented System of Care (ROSC) transformation, educating about trauma-informed care approaches and working to create measurable outcomes that prove prevention works, treatment is effective, and people do recover.

Amber lives in Findlay with her husband, Eric and daughter, Nyla and enjoys assisting others through intuitive healing and sound at her downtown Findlay studio, Grounding Sounds, LLC.

Amber will be holding a QPR training session for both sessions. Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) is a suicide prevention training. Just like CPR, QPR is an emergency response to someone in crisis and can save lives.  The training teaches participants how to recognize the warning signs of suicide, how to ask the crucial questions that inform which referral would be the most helpful. QPR is the most widely taught Gatekeeper training in the world.

Sara Best

Sara Best is a people, performance, and team development champion with 25 years of experience serving regional, national, and global organizations of all sizes and scope in both the for-profit and nonprofit sectors. She believes that BETTER WORK makes a BETTER WORLD.

Sara blends world class people analytics with the competencies of emotional intelligence to build connections, cohesiveness, and healthy culture for teams and organizations.

Sara is a certified Talent Optimization Consultant, a certified practitioner of The Predictive Index, a certified EQ-i2.0/EQ 360 Assessment Administrator as well as an experienced Emotional Intelligence, Performance, Team, and Leadership Coach.  She holds a bachelor’s degree in social work from The Ohio State University and a master’s degree in administration from Eastern Michigan University.

Allison “Ally” Jencson is the President and CEO of Frontline Floor Coatings and founder of Girder Skirts™. With over 17 years in male-populated industries, Ally is passionate about supporting women in construction. Through Girder Skirts™, she offers soft skills training and resilience coaching. Andi Wright

Andi Wright started CTP Solutions, LLC to address the ever-growing need for coaching, training, and strategy related gaps in organizations in the construction the construction industry.  She helps her clients empower their teams and team members to be the best version of themselves. Andi has over 25 years’ experience in coaching, training, facilitation, process development, strategic direction, and project management. She got her boots dirty on many jobsites, but realized her true love was with helping companies, teams and individuals achieve more. Educated as an architect, she understands that tight deadlines and even tighter resources go hand and hand.  Her planning, design, team effectiveness and communications skills transcend any organization.
