Werk-Brau Pavement Removal Buckets are engineered for breaking, lifting, and handling concrete or asphalt slabs, making them ideal for roadwork and demolition applications.
The specialized shape allows operators to wedge under pavement and pry slabs free, with inclined sides that help lift and separate concrete or asphalt efficiently. Built with high-strength, wear-resistant steel, the bucket features a ribbed interior bottom to reduce denting and extend service life.

Yes. While both use high-strength steel, a pavement removal bucket is specifically designed for the prying and impact loads of breaking up slabs. The tooth pattern, bucket geometry, and reinforcement zones are optimized for lateral prying forces rather than purely vertical digging forces. Using a standard severe-duty bucket for pavement removal accelerates structural fatigue in areas not designed for those forces.
The pavement removal bucket performs well in broken concrete and asphalt and can handle softer demolition rock. For hard quarry rock for example, our Severe-Duty or Extreme-Duty Rock Bucket is more appropriate.
Built tough. Backed better. Our industry-leading warranty means less downtime lower total cost of ownership. Work with confidence knowing Werk-Brau stands behind every attachment.
