The Werk-Brau Sand Can Bucket is designed for efficient digging and material movement in soft conditions like sand, silt, topsoil, and dirt. Its smooth, beveled cutting edge eliminates the need for bucket teeth while its larger capacity helps move more material per cycle
Built specifically for softer digging conditions, the Sand Can Bucket uses a hardened steel beveled edge that cuts through material without replaceable teeth, reducing GET replacement and the risk of teeth catching on utilities. Its high-capacity design allows more material to be moved per pass, while round-bottom and round-corner configurations are available for applications such as trench backfilling and pipe installation. The Sand Can Bucket is intended for sand, silt, topsoil, and dirt and is not recommended for rock applications.

Werk-Brau offers a standardized tine spacing based on the class of the machine you will be working with. However, custom Tine spacing is available and depends on the maximum size of material you want to fall through and the minimum size you want to retain. Common spacings range from 3 inches to 6 inches. For rip-rap applications retaining 6-inch-plus rock, a wider spacing is appropriate. For demolition cleanup retaining brick-sized rubble, a tighter spacing is better. Our team can help you select the right spacing for your application.
Skeleton buckets can be used for digging in competent rock and hard material, but they are not efficient for loose soil or soft material where fines make up the majority of the load. For mixed conditions, some contractors run both a standard bucket and a skeleton bucket, using each where it provides the most value.
